We have a full time position available. This family requires the nanny to work Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm. There can be some flexibility with the times.

This role is in Kangaroo Point.

They are an Indian family with one baby girl now aged 3.5 months.

The mother of the baby was involved in a motor bike accident many months ago which has left her in hospital and undergoing extensive rehab.

Her husband, mother and sister are all staying in Kangaroo Point at the rehab facility apartments for families.

Dad works most days however the grandmother and aunty of the baby are in the home. The grandmother cooks all day and tides the home. They all do fuss over the baby so there will be many times you will feel quite useless or not needed however the mother feels more comfortable and less stressed when there is a nanny in the home assisting when needed.

The grandmother will be heading back to India at some stage however the time is not known yet.

To even think about this role you need to acknowledge the family speak Indian between themselves in the home in which you may feel uncomfortable with, there are a few cultural differences so you need to respect their beliefs and the way they are raising the baby. You also need to feel comfortable studying or sitting down and reading a book as you wont be asked to do a lot, again its just comfort for the mum knowing you can help if the family needs it.

If the grandmother goes back to India then you may well become busy with helping with cooking, and being more hands on with bub.

This job will be fairly easy in that there is not a lot of work to do however you will need to feel comfortable with family in the home, have some baby experience to help guide the family should they require this, be able to drive the baby to see her mother when they ask you too and have some maturity to understand this situation is very unique and the mother feels helpless she can not help her baby.

This family has very Christian values so would like a respectable, calm and nurturing nanny for their baby girl.

The insurance company will be paying for the nanny so you will have to invoice them to be able to be paid. Currently the rate is set at $20 per hour however there is negotiations for it to be a little higher.

This job is to start immediately.

Your role will be to look after 2 adorable boys aged 3.5 and almost 2. This family requires the nanny to be available to start on 28 September. The days and hours the family seeks are

Week 1:

Tuesday 7.30am to 3/4pm

Wednesday 7am to 6pm

Thursday 7.30am to 6pm

(Approx 30hours)

Week 2:

Tuesday 7.30am to 5/6pm

Wednesday You can have this day off or you can work and do some housekeeping as children will not be home

Thursday 7.30am to 6pm

(Approx 30 hours or 20 if you choose to take the Wednesday off this week)

Both parents are in the medical profession so there may be occasions the nanny will need to be flexible with finish times as some emergencies may arise at work.

This family only requires the nanny to focus on the children and prepare children’s meals so cooking for children is a requirement. If you choose to work the alternate Wednesday housekeeping duties will be essential which will be changing bed linen, washing, possible ironing, tidying kids rooms and cleaning toys, general house tidying etc.

The family asks that the nanny stay within the home and encourage activities such as craft, outdoor play, train sets, building blocks etc as the family and children enjoy doing activities like these. Given you are not required to take the children out of the home you do not need a car or license as the home is near public transport. You must however be over the age of 24 and hold a current first aid certificate or at least prepared to obtain one.

This family is seeking a fun, loving, caring, organized, creative nanny to look after the 2 boys.

The hourly pay rate will be negotiate with each individual candidate depending on experience, age, qualifications. Formal qualifications are not a necessity although you do need to have at least 12 months nanny experience.

NON SMOKERS NEED ONLY APPLY

FAMILY M – MOTHERS HELP REQUIRED END AUGUST/BEG.SEPT. 2 children aged 5 (girl attending school daily) and 2 (boy attending nursery from September for a few hours a day). Mum and Dad are classical musicians and therefore this is a slightly different job. Their hours are irregular and never the same two weeks running. Sometimes they are at home, sometimes they are playing in a concert in the evenings and sometimes they are on tour for a few days. Mum works a lot at night. This job requires a very flexible girl who is happy to work as part of a team, being available when needed etc. Notice of working days for mum and dad are always told in advance (we work with lots of musicians and this seems to work well). Must be happy to do some very light household duties and errands e.g. knowing to buy milk, nappies, bread etc. when needed. Must be able to cook and love children. Mother Help will always have 2 free days but they are never the same each week. She must be able to work on her own initiative. Everything in walking distance so driving not necessary. Family have 2 cats. They are non-smokers, keep no religion at all. Living accommodation is varied too. Nights when mothers help is baby-sitting there is a nice bright, but small room in the family home. The rest of the time Mrs Morton’s mother, who lives down the road, has a beautiful large room with bathroom and kitchenette available and this would be mothers help real base. At the moment on Mondays the little boy is part of a nanny share which will continue for a while. Must be able to help with homework, organise activities take to play groups etc and play dates. Lovely job and very warm family. Family live very near to Central London with absolutely everything you need and excellent transport. Salary 250 pounds per week a.a.e.
