BabysitterI have never used a babysitter before, what can I expect?
You can expect a friendly, professional punctual and caring babysitter that has been fully screened by Centenary Nannies. Each applicant has to undergo an interview with either Rachel or Hayley, we check references and we only use the people that we would trust with our own children.

Do I get to meet the babysitter prior to the booked date?
No, you do not get to meet them but they will call you to introduce themselves once we have confirmed the booking.

Am I guaranteed the same babysitter each time?
We can not guarantee that the same babysitter will be available each time you book but we certainly do our best. Some families alternate between two babysitters, if one is busy or booked out, they can use the other babysitter.

Do I pay the agency or the babysitter?
You will pay your booking fee to Centenary Nannies via credit card at the time of booking and then you pay the babysitter their hourly rate directly.

Is there a minimum time frame we can use the babysitter for?
Yes, the minimum is 3 hours. If you arrive home early perhaps take that extra time to finish off some of the household duties that are difficult to do with children around or simply put your feet up and enjoy a nice coffee.

Do your babysitters look after children with disabilities?
Centenary Nannies is not a registered disability support service. The majority of our nanny and babysitting network is not qualified or experienced to handle the sensitive needs and care requirements of children with disabilities. Should you wish to discuss your child’s needs with us, we encourage you contact us for a confidential conversation.
