We’ve given you the sickly sweet popcorn magic in our previous blog. Now it is time to enjoy the delights of scrumptious savoury popcorn. These savoury popcorns are sure to please your non-sweet palette.

Movie Theatre Classic Corn

Melt 1 stick of butter in a small saucepan over low heat, skimming off the foam and solids; drizzle over 16 cups hot popcorn and toss with 2 teaspoons salt.  savoury popcorn

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Mix and melt 2 tablespoons of coconut oil with the same amount of powdered peanut butter, then pour over as much popcorn as you desire and toss to perfection! Place on baking paper and bake until slightly toasty – depending on oven, minutes may be enough.

Rosemary & Thyme Savoury Popcorn

Savoury popcorn is fragrant and tasty. It reminds me of baked potatoes, yet it is popcorn which I believe could be a preferred option for the carb counters as long as they don’t use butter as part of the recipe mix! It is a relatively easy recipe to follow and make because all you need to do is melt either coconut oil or butter (you decide the amount) along with salt, rosemary and thyme seasoning to taste. Then drizzle combined seasoning over cooked popcorn kernels, stir to complete and you are now ready to EAT.
