Ten Healthy Winter Snack Ideas | Centenary Nannies and Babysitters

I  need to stop eating chocolate! So in light of being inspired to choose healthy winter snack options, I have come up with the below ten options that I am currently making my way through. I must say the pot of delicious pumpkin soup is the winner so far! Apart from being very tasty, it is also a wonderful way to get some much-needed nutrients in one easy hit. I have started referring to hit as my little “Bowl of health” I am sure my skin looks better already!

  1. Make a big pot of healthy soup and nosh on that whenever you get peckish. My FAVOURITE this week is pumpkin, bok choy, ginger, turmeric and paprika. Tip: Grab out the flask and pack some to go!
  2. Herb roasted nuts.
  3. Warm roasted chickpeas with curry powder.
  4. Banana topped with almond or peanut butter.
  5. Homemade sweet potato fries baked with Celtic sea salt and olive oil.
  6. Baked zucchini chips with Himalayan salt and cracked black pepper.
  7. Handful of almonds and raisins.
  8. Cut veggies with pesto or hommos dip.
  9. Apple slices with almond butter.
  10. Fresh blueberries!
